Development targets requiring validation. Garmin card workflows need the appropriate reader or programmer.

What will I need?

An eligible Jeppesen subscription, compatible Apple device, and media appropriate to your GPS. Mobile USB updates use media initialized on a Mac. USB-C iPads and iPhones are the primary mobile targets; older connectors may require an adapter and separate validation. The linked drive is an example under evaluation, not a certified compatibility recommendation.

What about Garmin and other GPS models?

GNS 430W/530W requires compatible WAAS cards and a supported programmer; Mac programming is the initial target. iPad programmer access is under investigation; direct iPhone programmer support is not established. Planned GTN Xi and GPS 175/GNC 355/GNX 375 workflows use SD cards. Other models can register interest, but support is not promised.

Which databases and features are included?

The USB beta scope targets Jeppesen navigation and obstacle database preparation for Avidyne IFD 4XX/5XX and BendixKing AeroNav. The shared manufacturer update procedure does not replace model-specific navTrue validation. Charts, firmware, and aircraft configuration programming are outside the initial scope. Beta signup does not guarantee access or compatibility.

navTrue is an independent Runway Hero product. Jeppesen, Avidyne, BendixKing, Garmin, and Apple names identify providers and compatibility targets. No sponsorship or endorsement is implied.
